Astronics AES offers a competitive compensation package including the following comprehensive benefits. This summary is designed for general information purposes only. Complete detailed information for each benefit described can be obtained from the Human Resources Department. HEALTH PLAN Astronics AES provides comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage for its regular full-time and eligible part-time employees and their dependents. Coverage eligibility begins on the first day of employment with Astronics AES. ATRO 401(k)/ PROFIT SHARING Astronics AES will match 25% of your contribution up to 4% of an employees pay. Employees can contribute up to a total of 25% of their pay to the plan on a pre-tax basis or after-tax basis, subject to IRS limitations. Astronics AES may make an additional, non matching “Profit Sharing” contribution to your account. The amount is discretionary and is determined on a year to year basis. The Profit Sharing Contribution is subject to Board of Director approval. For the past 10 years this discretionary contribution has approximated 5% of each eligible employee’s eligible wages. EMPLOYEE STOCK PURCHASE PLAN This plan allows employees to purchase full shares of common stock in Astronics Corporation through a payroll deduction at a 15% discount. INCENTIVE COMPENSATION PLAN This program will allow you to be compensated based on the performance of the company on a quarterly basis. PERSONAL TIME OFF (PTO) Personal Time Off is a benefit that provides employees with paid time away from their jobs for vacation, illness, personal business, or to care for other family members. Regular full-time (RFT) and regular part-time (RPT) employees are eligible for PTO. Personal time off may be taken any time after meeting eligibility requirements with supervisor approval. PTO balances are based on employment status and years of service. HOLIDAY PAY Astronics AES observes the following 11 paid holidays per year:
BUSINESS CASUAL DRESS Astronics AES observes business casual dress guidelines. There are some occasions when regular business attire is required, e.g. external customer visits, supplier visits, interviews, program reviews, etc. FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS Flexible Spending Accounts are offered to employees as a way to pay for dependent care, medical, dental, vision, and prescription expenses with pretax dollars. SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY Short-Term Disability is an income protection benefit in the event of an employee that has a prolonged illness or injury. This benefit is offered at no cost to the employee. If an employee is still disabled and unable to perform their regular job duties after 6 months, Astronics AES provides a long-term disability program for employees. This benefit is offered at no cost to the employee. BASIC LIFE INSURANCE AND AD&D Astronics AES provides all regular full-time and eligible part-time employees with Basic Life Insurance coverage equal to 1 times their base annual salary. This coverage also includes Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage at two times annual salary. This benefit is offered at no cost to the employee. EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM Astronics AES provides a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through The Guardian. This is designed to improve the general well being of our employees and their families. This service provides confidential assessments, problem resolution and referral services to employees and their families who may be experiencing personal, emotional, and parenting or family difficulties. This benefit is offered at no cost to the employee. JURY DUTY Employees of Astronics AES who are summoned for jury duty will be granted time off with pay. Employees will be paid the difference between jury pay and their base pay for whatever time is required to serve either as a juror or on a standby basis.
